Ana Aragón

Ana Aragón was born and raised in the South Valley barrios of Albuquerque and comes from a long line of story tellers! She’s Carried a lifetime of eccentric characters rattling around in her brain and decided to use the romance genre to bring them to life. Ana Loves to pit feisty heroines against alpha heroes and sit back to watch the sparks fly!

Her debut novel, Sidelined By Love, was actually the second story in the Logan Springs series. Nikki Logan and Dominic Moretti’s story was the first manuscript, but Brock and Gaby wouldn’t have it! Initially, she wanted a story with two diametrically-opposed characters that had fallen in and out of love in high school, came back to their hometown and, despite their differences and all the baggage, can’t help but fall in love again. Her writing leans towards the outlandish, regardless of the premise, so she threw in Gaby’s gay father and partner, her fifty-year-old pregnant mother (a soft-porn star in the 70’s), her eBay addicted best friend, her Spanish- speaking grandmother, and Brock’s two hunky brothers (who have stories of their own waiting in the wings!)

Nikki and Dominic’s story, Strike Three… You’re Mine! is scheduled for release at the Wild Rose Press in 2008. Their story is equally funny, sexy, and heart-warming. It’s a love story she’s been waiting to tell for ten years, and hopes her readers will have as much fun reading as she did writing it! Older brothers, Jackson and Hunter, have their own stories, of course, and she’s working on a double-murder romantic suspense story that weaves present-day with Watergate-era politics!
